Rowan Cottage
is a three bedroomed cottage, sleeping up to six people.
The cottage sits within the beautiful village of Sleights, nestled between the seaside town of Whitby, and the delightful North Yorkshire Moors.
The cottage offers a perfect base for exploring the area, and is well connected by road, bus and rail. We are close to a number of attractions, including the North York Moors railway – we have a comprehensive list of local attractions and activities on our website.
Recently redecorated and refurnished to a high standard, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We have three bedrooms, a King size, twin 3ft, and bunk beds with adult sized 3ft, 200cm (extra long) mattresses.
The house comes with all the extras we could think of – this means washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier, freezer and microwave.
In the lounge, a solid fuel real fire, Freeview, DVD and of course WiFi.
In the garden we have provided a wooden table and six chairs with barbecue and a clothes drier.
The majority of our rooms provide magnificent views over the Esk valley, which is a joy to wake up to.
We provide fuel for the house, high quality towels and other linen and parking inclusive of the price.
We are currently offering a 10% discount on holidays taken in 2008.
Sadly we do not allow pets or smoking for the benefit of our future guests.
