Elizabeth house
is located on the west cliff within a few minutes stroll from Whitby's picturesque
harbour and miles of golden sandy beaches. A perfect base to explore the
spectacular countryside of the North york moors.
Four apartments are available
Ground Floor
Sleeping 3-4 people in 2 bedrooms comprising of a double bed in each plus a TV and plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage, this apartment is our most spacious. The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge freezer and a microwave. In the lounge you will find a TV and VCR and a lovely fireplace with an electric fire perfect for enjoying a cosy night in.
Decorated to a very high standard throughout, with all new fixtures and fittings, including all kitchen utensils and bed linen.
Studio apt (1st floor)
Situated on the first floor, to the rear of the property, this makes a brilliant low budget option for two people. newly completed in spring 2005.
Comprises of a bed sitting room with a cleverly designed double bed which is pulled down from the wall and concealed behind panel doors when not in use. The studio apartment has a separate bathroom with Shower, WC and washbasin. In the kitchen you will find a fully featured kitchen with all utensils and crockery provided. The apartment also offers fully independent electric heating for those staying off season.
Two (1st floor)
Situated on the First floor, this bright and airy apartment sleeps up to 3 people, with a double and single bed in the large bedroom and a wardrobe and chest of drawers that provides more than adequate storage.
The living room features a sofa (that converts to another bed if needed) and TV,VCR while the fully equipped modern kitchen comes with a electric oven, Microwave Fridge freezer and numerous utensils. The separate bathroom consists of Shower, WC and wash basin. With independent heating should it be required.
Three (2nd floor)
This large apartment sleeps between 4 and 5 people on two levels. The first floor comprises the main bedroom featuring double bed and bathroom with Shower, WC and hand basin.
While on the next level you will find a delightful twin bedded room with veleux windows. meanwhile in the lounge you will find a TV and sofa. The kitchen, equipped with Fridge with freezer compartment, Microwave, Electric oven and all utensils and crockery to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible.
